And I, too, would watch such a show, even though I don't really watch TV these days. You know I used to work in a bookstore, right? It startles me to realize it was almost 10 years ago that I quit. Yikes! I don't have all that much to show for the last decade. But I'm really glad not to be in retail anymore. I made the mistake of getting into management positions, which kind of sucked the fun of being a bookseller out of the work. I bought a refigerator magnet that said something along the lines of "show me someone with a deep loathing for mankind, and I'll show you someone who works in retail." (I don't know what happened to the magnet.) On the other hand, working in a bookstore introduced me to some really, really cool people.
