what? the day cashier quit and you worked late and got all manager-esque on those unsus­pect­ing cus­tomers and cowork­ers your first week at work? then found out tonight that you have to make dessert for 18 at a chris­ten­ing tomor­row at a des­ti­na­tion three hours away?

  1. heh, I’ve had those days before and good luck with that dessert — you must share the recipe with us. Here’s to find­ing the bal­ance in that whole life/work thing, per­son­ally I’m still look­ing myself. Then again I’ve oft favored the phi­los­o­phy of Heinlein’s Lazarus Long, “Every­thing to excess! Mod­er­a­tion is for monks.”
