I wonder if she'd consent to be my Bubbe too? True I'm not Jewish but my mother is Polish and I was raised Catholic, so the guilt's the same. That said the recipe is so easy and the result looks delicious, almost like a cross between a strudel and a nusstorte. Mmm nusstorte. You know I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere, something about a lawyer in a tort over a torte, but I'll do us all a favor and not look too hard for it.
