In this week’s New Yorker, unre­pen­tant demo­c­rat David Sedaris has a scathing and scat­a­log­i­cal take on the unde­cided vot­ers in the upcom­ing elec­tion.

    I read that, and I couldn’t agree more. I don’t get how some­one couldn’t know who they’re going to vote for at this point. I think it’s just lazi­ness. Or stu­pid­ity. Or both.

    The shit with bro­ken glass reminded me of an old SNL sketch about toys at Christ­mas time and Dan Akroyd try­ing to sell “Bag O’Glass”

    As far as Polit­i­cal Aware­ness goes, dur­ing the last elec­tion I was wait­ing for a booth to open up and I heard two women talk­ing behind me about who they were vot­ing for and one of them said they picked that par­tic­u­lar can­di­date because their boyfriend had picked that par­tic­u­lar can­di­date. I real­ized that all the research I’d done was com­pletely can­celled out by this voter who had done no research what­so­ever. If more peo­ple cared, we wouldn’t have had a moron for another four years.

    That was a great arti­cle! I wrote about the unde­cided vot­ers too and just can­not under­stand it. The thought makes my head all squirrelly.
