From the “going to hell” annals

I was coming out of my building at the end of work one day this week, and as I breached the corner of our entryway, I was nearly run over by a blind man wielding his cane like a jousting lance, and holding a cellphone to his ear with the hand not brandishing his lance.

So help me, all I could think was “he’d better put that phone down and watch where he’s going.”

Yep, hell.

  1. You could have pushed him and stolen his phone. Only purgatory for you, I think.

  2. Kind of like when the electricity goes out, but everytime you walk into the room you flick the light switch …

If they send you to hell for that, I’ll be living in the doghouse behind your room.

  3. I shouldn’t laugh but *lol*

  4. At least you didn’t say it!

  5. Until now, I had never thought of the impact of the cell phone on the blind community-those damn things distract us all.

    You are so funny.

  6. lmao,watch where he’s going.

  7. Hold the elevator for me since I’m on my way down as well.

  8. Hahaha! AWESOME. I would be thinking EXACTLY the same thing.

  9. LOL — well you didn’t say it out loud so I don’t think it will really earn you “going to hell points”.….;)

  10. I’ve had the same thing happen to me! And I had to jump out of the way! Except for he wasn’t on the phone.
