Mindfulness

Since I have noth­ing else to write, I thought I would note that I was able to keep Thich Naht Hanh’s words in mind tonight as I ate my late (10:30 pm) sup­per– I just ate my few slices of ched­dar, my one per­fect Boston Organ­ics nec­tarine, and drank my one glass of mal­bec. No read­ing, no talk­ing to any­one. Just con­cen­trat­ing on the food in front of me.

Of course, mak­ing my first “ham sand­wich” post is some­thing to be mind­ful of, too.
